• Field Studies is a major part of AASK Training Curriculum. The Trainees will be exposed to the field realities of various types of enterprises and will be given opportunities to interact with successful entrepreneurs. Out of 75 days of Training 15 days will be dedicated to practical learning with various producers’ group, farmers, and exposure visit to some core enterprises.
  • Learning from peers will not only boost the confidence of the trainees but also help them decide the right enterprise for them. The objective of this initiative of AASK is broadly as follows.
  • To create opportunities for the Trainees for first-hand experiences that encourage critical thinking, long-term retention, transfer potential, positive attitudes towards enterprise, appreciation for the process, and increased scientific and technical curiosity.
  • Cognitive development and motivation will also be enhanced when Trainees are active participants in the planning of the field study and in the activity itself. These benefits are applicable to both the trainers and trainees.
  • Exposing the trainee entrepreneurs to the ground reality. These excursions will add new dimensions to education through “teachable moments” that seldom occur in the classroom.
  • To well document the Field Practices, utilizing technological advancement will help memorizing various operating procedures.
  • Interviews and Interaction with various stakeholders in the field will also be recorded, which will further help both the Trainer and Trainees.
